Lk 12:1-7

Jesus begins by cautioning first his disciples about the duplicity of the pharisees. In contrast, he speaks of God’s love and care for each one of them. God knows their every thought, their hopes, their fears. In that, God is with them therefore they must not be afraid.

There are times when turning to you when I am in trouble is the last thing I think about, the last thing I do. Help me to always be mindful of your presence and desire to comfort and console me.
