Lk 9:7-9

Jesus’ mission is expanding and thus draws the attention of more people. Herod is one of those whose curiosity is piqued by what he has heard about Jesus. He hears the rumors and wonders himself if the ancient prophets have returned or even more alarming, if John the Baptist has returned from the dead.

I pray for those today who are curious about you. May they reach beyond their curiosity, beyond knowing about you to knowing you.
