Lk 9:43-45

Jesus wants his disciples to pay attention to what he is telling them. It seems they are so in awe of Jesus’ marvelous deeds that they don’t understand the importance of what he is saying, for him and for them.

It is a blessing to know the whole story but my human weakness keeps me from living as one who understands what it means for me, what it demands of me.
